Development of a voice communication control system for safe maintenance of underground belt transport in mines

  • The structure of underground belt conveyor is simple, so faults will inevitably occur when it is operated with high load for a long time in the complex underground environment. With the continuous improvement of the automation of underground belt transport system, the safety maintenance monitoring function of the system is constantly improving. In view of the drawbacks of its large size, complex transport structure and unfavorable maintenance, a voice communication control system for the safety maintenance of underground belt transport in mines is proposed. The system uses LPC1768FBD100 as the main control chip and VS1063 as the audio codec chip to realize real-time communication between underground and uphole through CAN bus technology, and the protection sensors along the belt line can monitor the working conditions of the belt transport system, which is of great significance to the safety of underground equipment and personnel.
