Progress in preparation and application of core-shell perovskite nanomaterials

  • The excellent photophysical properties and unique electronic structure of perovskite nanomaterials, lead to adjustable photoluminescence spectrum, high color purity, high absorption, and high carrier mobility. Therefore, they have attracted huge attention in the fields of optoelectronic devices, photovoltaics, and photocatalysis. Typical quantum dots also have the advantages of adjustable shape, size, band gap, and optical properties. The combination of typical (such as group II-VI and III-V) quantum dots and perovskite nanomaterials to form a novel core-shell perovskite nanomaterials have significantly improved their stability and photoelectric performance. This paper reviews different preparation methods for this novel core-shell perovskite quantum dot nanomaterials, as their photoelectric properties, and carrier dynamics at the interface. This provides guidance for improving the properties of core-shell perovskite nanomaterials and optimizing their preparation methods and application.
