Abstract
Based on the sub-wavelength metal strip array structure, a metamaterial terahertz multi-frequency absorber with simple structure was designed. CST simulation software was used to study the effects of metal strip quantity and size on the absorption spectral characteristics of terahertz in the sub-wavelength metal strip array cell structure. In the spectrum range of 0.5~2.6 THz, the absorption peak of the monometallic bar array structure had a certain red shift with the increase of the metal strip size. The structure of chirped metal strips could be operated as a multi-band or broadband absorber, which is of great significance for studying terahertz imaging, detection and electromagnetic stealth.
