Abstract
The road ecology includes the road landscape ecology, the road architectural ecology and the road landscape architectural ecology. The road ecology focuses on the material and structure of the building, rather than the location and shape. The three main principles of the ecology of road architecture design include: firstly, the speed of consuming resources should not exceed the speed of renewing resources in nature, secondly, the materials used for resource production are created and processed by waste materials, thirdly, the system that use the energy quality with maximum efficiency should be created. Correspondingly, these three principles should be implemented in accordance with the sustainability of the available road building materials, the regeneration rate of renewable resources and the regeneration grade, and the ratio of the costs during the life cycle of the pavement structure and the benefits.
