Abstract
Hydrogen peroxide sterilization is widely used. After the actual sterilization, it still takes a lot of time to dispose of the residual hydrogen peroxide. Although the existing decontamination equipment can use a fan to transport the residues in the sterilized space to the equipment containing the catalyst for decomposition, there are still some problems such as low decomposition efficiency and long time-consuming. A vaporized hydrogen peroxide residue removal equipment was designed, which could spray reducing agent to react with hydrogen peroxide in the sterilization space, and its nozzle could adjust the spray direction. The distribution of vaporized hydrogen peroxide in different spaces was obtained by simulating the flow field with AnsysFluent software. The adjustment of the spray angle of the nozzle could greatly reduce both the residue removal time and the sterilization cycle.
