Abstract
CuO-ZnO-ZrO2 catalyst was prepared by co-precipitation method and characterized by XRD, BET, H2-TPR and XPS techniques. The influence of component content including CuO mass fraction and the mass ratio of ZnO and ZrO2 was investigated. The results of characterization revealed that when CuO mass fraction was 70% and mass ratio of ZnO and ZrO2 was 1:1, CuO-ZnO-ZrO2 catalyst showed a larger surface area and pore volume, a higher dispersion of CuO particles with a smaller partical size and better reduction property, thus it exhibited the high catalytic performance in the carbon monoxide oxidation, and under the conditions of 373 K and atmospheric pressure, the CO conversion could reach 75% with good stability of 22 h.
