    摻鐿鎢酸鍶晶體的生長及其性能表征

    Growth and Properties of Yb3+-Doped Strontium Tungstate Crystal

    • 摘要: 鐿離子摻雜晶體材料是一類優秀的固體激光增益介質,已獲得廣泛應用。使用提拉法生長了不同鐿離子摻雜濃度的鎢酸鍶(Yb∶SrWO4)晶體,通過X射線粉末衍射儀測定了其單晶結構,對粉末衍射數據精修得到了其晶胞參數。使用X射線熒光光譜法測定了晶體中鐿離子的實際摻雜濃度,結果表明Yb∶SrWO4晶體中Yb3+離子存在摻雜上限🔈,隨著Yb3+離子摻雜濃度增加,晶體中主要的電荷補償機製變為基質陽離子空位👼🏿。同時©️,Yb∶SrWO4晶體的比熱、熱膨脹系數、熱導率與純鎢酸鍶(SrWO4)晶體相比無明顯變化,在鎢酸鹽系列晶體中熱學性能優良🏃🏻‍♂️。上述結果表明Yb∶SrWO4晶體是一種具有一定應用潛力的固體激光增益介質🎦。

       

      Abstract: Ytterbium doped crystal is a kind of excellent solid-state laser gain medium, which has been widely used. In this work, Yb∶SrWO4 crystals with different doping concentrations were grown by Czochralski method. The crystal structure was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, and the cell parameters were obtained by analyzing the powder diffraction data. The actual doping concentration of Yb3+ in Yb∶SrWO4 crystal was investigated by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, whose results show that there is an upper doping limit for the Yb3+ ions and the main charge compensation mechanism in the crystal changes with the increase of Yb3+ doping concentration. The thermal properties of Yb∶SrWO4 crystal with different doping concentrations were measured, whose results show that the specific heat, thermal expansion coefficient and thermal conductivity changed slightly compared with the undoped SrWO4 crystals, exhibiting excellent thermal properties. These results indicate that Yb∶SrWO4 crystal is a potential solid laser gain medium.
