Abstract:
The ever-growing market of new energy system and electronics has triggered continue research into energy storage devices, and the design of electrode materials and the energy storage performance-improving techniques, especially titanium dioxide (TiO
2), have also been extensively investigated. The different crystal structures, electrochemical properties, and the recent process of TiO
2 in energy storage, as well as the challenges and opportunities of the mechanistic research on TiO
2 are discussed. The recent process of conductivity enhancement through structure design of TiO
2 provides fundamental insights into the energy storage of TiO
2 is highlighted.
