Abstract:
Quantum dot glass for white LEDs not only displays novel optical characteristics such as high fluorescence efficiency, adjustable luminous wavelength, and narrow emission wavelength, but also solves the problems of poor thermal stability and poor resistance to water and oxygen of quantum dots. Thus, the problems of traditional packaging white LEDs such as yellowing and aging of packaging materials, uneven light emission, and light spots can be effectively avoided. The preparation method of quantum dot glass for white LED and its application in LED were reviewed, and further prospects for the fluorescence efficiency of quantum dot glass for white LED and the development of lead-free and cadmium-free quantum dot glass were put forward.
