Abstract:
With the wide applications of light emitting diode (LED), the heat dissipation of LED has drawn increasing attention. Aiming at the problem that the thermal conductivity of LED has an important influence on the quantum effect and the lifetime, we review the thermal conductive nanomaterials based on graphene and two-dimensional hexagonal boron nitride (2D h-BN) for the application in the heat dissipation of LED.The recent advances in the fundamental research on the synthesis of graphene and 2D h-BN nanomaterials with high thermal conductive performance and the corresponding applications in LED are highlighted. In addition, the remaining challenges in the practical applications of these materials are also discussed.
