Abstract:
CuO-ZnO-ZrO
2 catalyst was prepared by co-precipitation method and characterized by XRD, BET, H
2-TPR and XPS techniques. The influence of component content including CuO mass fraction and the mass ratio of ZnO and ZrO
2 was investigated. The results of characterization revealed that when CuO mass fraction was 70% and mass ratio of ZnO and ZrO
2 was 1:1, CuO-ZnO-ZrO
2 catalyst showed a larger surface area and pore volume, a higher dispersion of CuO particles with a smaller partical size and better reduction property, thus it exhibited the high catalytic performance in the carbon monoxide oxidation, and under the conditions of 373 K and atmospheric pressure, the CO conversion could reach 75% with good stability of 22 h.
